I can hardly believe that in a couple of days it will be July. We are only about 2 months away from moving to France for a year. We're still moving forward on that. The logistics surrounding that move tend to be the focus of our prayers. I believe that God is showing me what it means to walk forward in times of uncertainty but continually looking to Him to say, "It's all right. You're still on the path." My tendency has always been to **GRIT MY TEETH** and tense-up when things don't go Smooooooothly.... I'm realizing that God is not constrained by how smooth things are running...rather by how obedient I am.
Our plans continue to move forward and we'll talk more about that in our regular newsletter (coming up soon). Many of you knew that on the 27th of June, we were to be in Edinburgh at the French Consulate to deliver our paperwork. They called and postponed until next Thursday, July, 4th. We pray that will be a significant day for this small band of Americans trying to get into France for a year!

French Visas: Off to Edinburgh on the 4th of July with the entire family. We *think* we have all the forms we need. Pray for favor with the consulate staff.

Driving Lessons/Test: My lessons continue to go well (if expensively!) and my test is scheduled for July, 19th. There are SO many details to remember for "proper British driving" and the examiner can fail me for all manner of things. Pray that this would be an opportunity to drive like "salt and light".

Health: Noah and Olivia are both down with colds. Pray for healing and a quick exit of the viruses from this house (with no other intermediate stops!).

Birthday: Rachel turns the BIG 13 on July 10th. Her best buddy is out of the country right now. We celebrate Olivia's half-birthday on the 7th. Pray for special days as we honor them.

School/Friends: School and friends will be HUGE for all 3 of the kids. Please pray that they really learn to trust in God during this time. Pray also that God would prepare their hearts for school in France and that they would have friends who are encouraging.

Moving Logistics: We still need to deal with how to get our stuff to France (that doesn't fit directly in the car), the details of renting the house, the financial guarantee for the residence permit in France, car insurance and home insurance issues for both France and the UK, finances in general, etc. We need grace and wisdom for these things.
